4 min | 6344Last month, I published a review of the DSO138. This time, I put together the WAVE2 (15801K) and I review it in this article. The WAVE2 is a 2-channel portable oscilloscope design by JYETech for a hobbyist. It has a resistive touch screen display, X-T (signal-time) / X-Y (signal-signal) plotting functionalities, memory (4 blocks), measurement functionalities (V -max, min, avr, pp, rms-, frequency, duty cycle), serial interface and can be powered using an external 5V source (micro ...

3 min | 10016A few months ago, I was looking for a small digital signal oscilloscope (DSO) module, and last week I got a DSO138 DIY kit from DigitSpace. The oscilloscope is originally from the company JYE Tech, but as usual, there are a lot of copies.
The oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 200kHz, a maximum sampling rate of 1MHz and a maximum input voltage of 50Vpk that are sufficient for the applications that I am programming using ESP32 boards (more details here).
In this article, I include a qui...

5 min | 4107On August I was contacted by Ben from Seeed Studio to review the Fusion service. I received a coupon, which could be used only to order PCB.
To define the Fusion service, I take this text from its website:
Seeed Fusion Service offers one-stop prototyping services for PCB manufacture,PCB assembly and other electronic and mechanical customized services such as CNC Milling, 3D printing and PCB layout services.
I didn't have at that time a design but I had something in mind that uses communication technology. I was experimenting using LoRa technology and I thought, I could managed to design a b...

Happy New Year!
This week has been a very busy one for me. But 2017 starts, and I have some new codes to publish!
How I start? Ok, I've been working (may be playing) with Android Things using a Raspberry Pi v3, and I've been rewriting some of my libraries!.
First, I thought, let's try SWIG and wrap the C/C++ codes to use them with Java. But, then I realized, that I needed a wrapper in wrapper, which I think is not possib...

2 min | 2744Hi everybody! I am back again! After almost a-two whole week(s) of code cleaning and updating I've just uploaded two 'new' libraries:
RF24: https://goo.gl/3fTmlJ
RF24Network: https://goo.gl/KONmkUThese libraries are an extension to the great nrf24 libraries provided by TMRh20 and allow to connect the nRF24L01+ to the following TI-Launchpads:
- MSP430G2553
- MSP430F5529LP
- TM4C1294XL
- more are coming in the next days!
In the following days I am updating some example codes for CCS (Code Co...

2 min | 7918Hi everybody! I have just uploaded two repositories related to the EK-TM4C1294XL!
You can:
Take photos over serial interface: https://goo.gl/8PlS7y
Stream (slow) video via webserver: https://goo.gl/gQDFTOConnect the OmniVision ov7670 -old but everywhere- (version with FIFO AL422B) to the LaunchPad Tiva™ C Series EK-TM4C1294XL and take photos over serial interface, or use the http webserver to get a (slow) video streaming.
